Departure for Bathurst:Day trip to New Brunswick. Known for its beaches and friendly people, the province of New Brunswick has much to offer visitors. Arrival in Bathurst, in the northeastern part of the province, a picturesque town on the shores of Chaleur Bay
Bathurst-Caraquet-Moncton:In the morning, set out to explore the magnificent Acadian Peninsula, famous for its long beaches, Francophone culture, and the unparalleled hospitality of its residents. Visit the renowned Acadian Historical Village of Caraquet, a fascinating site that brings to life daily life, history, and Acadian traditions from 1770 to 1949 through period buildings and costumed reenactors. In the afternoon, continue your journey along the New Brunswick coastline toward the southern part of the province. Stop at the spectacular Bouctouche Dune, an impressive 12-kilometer-long sandbar bordered by exceptional coastal landscapes. The day ends in Shediac, known as the lobster capital of the world. Embark on an authentic fishing trip with local fishermen who will share their expertise and the secrets of lobster fishing. This immersive experience will be followed by a delicious lobster dinner served on board, in a quintessentially maritime atmosphere.
Moncton-Cavendish-Moncton:Start your day by crossing the famous Confederation Bridge, an impressive feat of engineering connecting New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island. Spanning over 12 kilometers across the Northumberland Strait, it is recognized as the world’s longest bridge built over ice-prone waters. Arrive in this Maritime province renowned for its bucolic landscapes, red cliffs, and unique charm. Then discover Charlottetown on a guided tour with a local guide. Explore the capital’s rich historical and maritime heritage with several photo stops at iconic sites such as Province House, the Lieutenant Governor’s residence, the Confederation Arts Centre, and the lively Peake’s Quay area. After dinner, visit Green Gables Heritage Place, better known as Anne of Green Gables. This National Historic Site pays tribute to the famous character created by Lucy Maud Montgomery. A true symbol of Prince Edward Island, this timeless story—translated into many languages and adapted numerous times for film and television—has continued to charm generations of visitors since its publication in 1908. At the end of the day, return to Moncton.
Moncton-Fredericton : Begin your day in the heart of the spectacular Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, one of the most iconic natural attractions along the Bay of Fundy. Depending on the tides, you may have the opportunity to walk on the ocean floor at low tide and admire the impressive flowerpot-shaped rock formations sculpted by the world’s highest tides. At high tide, the landscape transforms dramatically, creating a truly breathtaking natural spectacle. Continue your Acadian discovery with a visit to Pays de la Sagouine, a unique cultural village inspired by the world of renowned Acadian author Antonine Maillet. Fredericton-Return :This morning, step back in time with a visit to King's Landing, a remarkable reconstructed historical village showcasing 19th-century English-speaking life in New Brunswick. This unique heritage site features authentic period buildings, more than 70,000 artifacts, immersive exhibits, and costumed interpreters bringing history to life. Enjoy lunch on site while fully experiencing the rich cultural and historical atmosphere. In the early afternoon, depart for Quebec while taking in the scenic landscapes of Eastern Canada along the way.
